Supporting the Channel

This little rockhounding and adventuring channel thrives off the support of viewers like you! If you'd like to do your part in helping the channel continue to prosper and grow, then consider doing one or all of the following:

1. Like, Comment, and Share

The easiest and most effective way to support the channel is simply by watching my videos, hitting the thumb's up button, commenting, and sharing it with other people who you think would enjoy watching it. Doing so brings new viewers to the channel and increases the odds of my videos being recommended to people watching similar videos on YouTube.

2. Don't Skip Ads (Sometimes)

Ad revenue is a relatively effortless way for the channel to generate a small amount of income. However, most viewers don't realize that ads only generate revenue when they are watched in their entirety (without skipping). 100% of the ad revenue that we make goes right back into the channel. That means gas money for cool trips, better camera equipment, coffee for early morning editing, and more. It is a relatively painless way to make a big contribution to the channel.

3. Donation

This channel is purely a hobby for me. It is not a job and I do not depend upon it financially in any way. Having said that, if you enjoy my videos and would like to contribute financially to the channel, then you can do so through PayPal. You can rest assured that any donation is funneled 100% into the channel for equipment, transportation costs, coffee for early morning editing, and so much more. 5/4/2020 Channel Update

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to drop a quick channel update as I have a number of different projects in the works as well, as a big milestone for the channel, and some personal/school things to balance. I was sort of hoping that the timing for 1000 subscribers would work out a little better, as I am in the midst of testing for school. For those of you who don't know, I am nearly done with my Physician Assistant training, and plan to graduate this August. Hopefully Coronavirus doesn't change that too much! Of course, school does take priority of YouTube and Rockhounding (Sad, I know), so a few of the projects that you might be waiting for will likely be just a little delayed. Additionally, next week (5/10-5/16) I'll be away for some much needed family vacation time. However, you can still count on at least one video during this time period.
